FOR A
LONG-TERM AND LASTING SUCCESS

When a country experiences extreme poverty, its social structures become vulnerable. To obtain successful results, one must never accept that which seems impossible! The key to success is to create a situation whereby all parties have something to gain from their involvement. All involved must feel sens of responsibility for the outcome of projects through the creation of social structures that foster a sense of belonging. Success is only possible if all parties work together as one big family in a climate of accountability. If this type of social project is to succeed, it is crucial that all groups have a common interest and a willingness to work in genuine partnership with one another. This is the true meaning of the word family.

To ensure that a given project has a lasting success, it is necessary to influence and empower the local authorities where projects are set up. A true community-based association always brings about a partnership-oriented way of functioning. This way of doing things, which is founded on genuine respect and understanding, guarantees that the projects put in place will be long lasting.

A successful outcome requires the following structures

Meeting with national and international humanitarian aid organizations and associations.

Meeting with governmental authorities, health and educational authorities, humanitarian aid organizations and associations with which we work in partnership. Increase the network of partners.

Meeting with those responsible for setting up the projects such as territorial authorities, village and heads.

Meeting with the people themselves to exchange and join together so that the work to be done is accomplished in harmony and understanding.

Fair and accurate agreements accompanied by guarantees for all payments of the work to be done in the given time schedules.

    Gouverneur   Signature

Signing of agreements with the Governor of the City of Kumpot and representatives of the various health and educational sectors, the Red Cross, the IARNSC and the AHURD Cambodia.   A partnership : agreements and signatures between the head doctor of the hospital in the city of Palin, healthcare representatives and the IARNSC

For long-lasting success, it is important
to create partnerships between organizations and individuals

The IARNSC and its members use an energetic approach which should be successful because its projects foster a sense of belonging among the people who now have their own clinics, schools, artesian wells and water reservoirs. All projects must meet the needs of the population. This is possible only if we encourage social unity through a program of participation and follow-ups.

To achieve success, all parties involved must work in unity and partnership in an accountable manner. This is the only way to avoid failure. Success occurs when all remnants of personal interests have vanished and fused into the common interest and when a genuine concern for the common good evolves.
